About the Experience

Embark on a full-day spiritual and historical journey to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, where myths, history, and vibrant culture come together. Starting from Lucknow, this experience covers some of Ayodhya’s most iconic landmarks, including Ram Mandir, Hanuman Garhi, Dashrath Mahal, Kanak Bhawan, and the serene Sarayu Ghat. Our guide will share stories and legends of gods, kings, and warriors that have shaped Ayodhya’s past and its continuing significance today.

After a peaceful and inspiring day, witness the Guptaar Ghat aarti, a ritual that marks the end of our journey in this sacred city.

Key Stops

  1. Ram Mandir – The birthplace of Lord Ram, an architectural marvel steeped in spirituality and cultural history. Our guide will share its historical relevance and the significance of this newly rebuilt temple.
  2. Hanuman Garhi – A magnificent temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the eternal protector of Ayodhya. It offers a panoramic view of the holy city and houses intricate statues of Hanuman and stories tied to his undying devotion to Lord Ram.
  3. Dashrath Mahal – The royal palace of King Dashrath, Lord Ram’s father. Walk through the ancient halls where Lord Ram grew up, and explore the historical significance of this palace within the Ramayana.
  4. Kanak Bhawan – A gift to Goddess Sita from Lord Ram, this beautiful temple is adorned with idols of Ram and Sita and offers a serene glimpse into their divine love and life together.
  5. Sarayu Ghat – Located on the banks of the sacred Sarayu River, this peaceful spot is a hub for religious rituals. We’ll take a moment to relax by the river and witness the spiritual significance this river holds for Hindus.
  6. Guptaar Ghat – Our final stop, where Lord Ram is believed to have ended his earthly journey and ascended to heaven. We will experience the beautiful evening aarti by the river, a spiritually uplifting ritual to conclude our day.
  7. End Point – Return to Lucknow by approximately 7:00-8:00 PM. We will drop you at your hotel or the original pick-up location.

What to Bring

  • Dress comfortably for the weather and wear suitable clothing for walking and local travel.
  • Suggested: Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat. (Also an umbrella if it's going to rain)
  • A water bottle and a little snack.

Important Notes:

  • The tour is an all day tour, including traveling from Lucknow to explore the holy Ayodhyaji and then all the way back. (11-12 hours).
  • Tourist cabs are not allowed inside the main Ayodhya circuit, we will be parking our vehicle and doing inter-city travel with Tuktuks/E-rickshaws.
  • We believe in not wasting food, thus - the food and drinks in this experience is not included, as we want our guests to only buy what they want to eat.
