3. Homestays
- Guests must respect house rules set by the host.
- Check-in and check-out timings must be followed strictly unless pre-approved.
- Damage to property may result in charges to the guest’s account.
- Hosts must maintain a safe, clean, and truthful listing. Misleading listings may be removed.
4. Experiences
- Bookings must be confirmed in advance via Staymate’s platform.
- Guests are responsible for showing up on time at the specified location.
- Staymate is not liable for any physical injury, loss, or health issues during the experience.
- Experience providers must ensure safety, cultural respect, and authenticity at all times.
5. Co-hosting
- Co-hosts are responsible for managing the listing, guest support, and property care as agreed.
- Revenue shares, roles, and expectations must be documented via written agreement between host and co-host.
- Staymate is not liable for disputes between hosts and co-hosts unless outlined in official contracts.
6. Payments & Cancellations
- All payments are processed securely through Staymate’s platform or trusted payment gateways.
- Cancellation policies vary by service. Homestays and experiences follow a 24-hour cancellation window unless stated otherwise.
- No-shows or late cancellations may result in no refund.
7. Code of Conduct
- Disrespectful behavior, harassment, or rule violations may result in permanent suspension.
- All users must treat hosts, guests, and guides with courtesy and professionalism.
8. Limitation of Liability
Staymate provides a platform to connect people for accommodations, experiences, and co-hosting. We are not responsible for user behavior, on-ground incidents, or third-party services unless explicitly stated.
9. Updates to Terms
These terms may be revised at any time. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the latest version.
